From the very first moment we stepped onto the jetty at Cora Cora Maldives, we knew this trip was going to be special. What we didn’t know is just how deeply this place would capture our hearts.

Getting to Cora Cora Maldives is an exciting part of the journey. The resort is accessible via a scenic 45-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport. The communal pool area is a vibrant and inviting space that captures the essence of island relaxation. Set against the backdrop of the turquoise lagoon, the infinity pool offers breathtaking views, especially during sunset when the sky reflects beautifully on the water’s surface. Adjacent to the pool, the Acquapazza Beach Club provides a chic setting where you can unwind on sun loungers, enjoy refreshing drinks, and savor Italian-inspired cuisine. This area seamlessly blends leisure and luxury, making it a favorite spot for both relaxation and socializing. ​

Dining at Cora Cora: A Feast for the Senses

Cora Cora brought a fresh and playful approach to dining that made every mealtime exciting. With four distinct venues, each with its own charm and character, we were constantly discovering new flavors and settings. From vibrant, colorful interiors to open-air seaside views, the ambiance was just as memorable as the food itself. It felt like each restaurant had its own little story to tell — and we loved experiencing them all.

Tazäa

Tazäa quickly became one of our favorites. Inspired by the Spice Route, it’s the heart of the island’s dining scene. Every meal felt like comfort food with a twist — flavorful, fragrant, and beautifully plated. The breakfast spread here was insane — fresh fruits, pastries, express cooking station, multiple juices and drinks selection, everything you could dream of.

Ginger Moon

Ginger Moon was perfect for when we were craving something fresh and vibrant. It’s an open-air Asian street food-style restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere and super flavorful dishes. Wok-fried noodles, fried rice, curries bring back your South-East Asian memories — and the open kitchen adds such a fun energy to the whole experience.

Acquapazza Beach Club

For a more laid-back vibe, we’d hang out at Acquapazza Beach Club — the island’s beach bar and Italian restaurant. Cocktails by the pool, light bites, fresh seafood pasta and sunset views — it was the perfect place to just chill and soak in the vibes. And yes, we basically lived in our swimsuits and flip-flops the entire time.

Teien

Teien, the Japanese restaurant, gave us one of our most memorable dinners. Sushi, sashimi, kushiyaki — everything was so fresh and delicately prepared. Sitting by the water with soft music in the background made it feel extra romantic.

We also loved the MYCOFFEE where you could grab a coffee, ice cream and light bites from early morning to late night.

There is also a super cool food take away option with Grab & Go, you can order anything you like from your favourite restaurants and take it back to your villa to enjoy it there!

And the best part? Everything is part of the premium all-inclusive experience with their fantastic Gourmet Plan. No hidden costs, no limitations — just order what you want, when you want. That freedom made every meal even more enjoyable. A very wide list of drinks with a great selection is also included in this plan, however if you would like some special bottles you can order from the Exclusive Beverage Menu, where you will find premium bottles. We honestly did not even check this as the selection of the all-inclusive drinks was insane!

Spa and Wellness

No Maldives escape would be complete without a visit to the spa. The MOKSHA Spa and Wellbeing Center offers a range of treatments inspired by Asian techniques. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing massage or a rejuvenating facial, the resort’s wellness team is dedicated to helping you feel your best.
